The Doc - Deuce

Deuce is the third studio album by West Coast Dallas rapper The D.O.C., and the second since the car accident which severely damaged his larynx. The only single released from Deuce was "The Shit", which features fellow former-N.W.A. members MC Ren and Ice Cube, along with Snoop Dogg and 6Two.

The album was originally meant to be completely produced by Dr. Dre and released through Aftermath Entertainment. However D.O.C. and Dre argued over whether D.O.C. should be rapping on the album. D.O.C.

NWA - Straight Outta Compton [1989]

Their second album, Straight Outta Compton, marked the beginning of the new gangsta rap era as the production and the social commentary in their lyrics were revolutionary within the genre. Rolling Stone ranked N.W.A. eighty-third on their list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" Although largely unknowns at the group's inception, rappers Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and MC Ren would all go on to be platinum-selling stars in their own right, retroactively making N.W.A hip hop's first supergroup.

This is not the 20th Anniversary Edition

NWA - Niggaz 4 Life [1991]

NWA's third full-length album, Niggaz4life, courts controversy in every imaginable way, from its title (printed backward on the cover, as a mirror image) down to its mercilessly misogynistic second half, and it remains shocking years later, no matter how many times the controversial aspects of the album have been exploited again and again by others.

Unfortunately, the shocking rhetoric which, to a degree unprecedented at the time of the album's release, revels in relentless obscenity, graphic sex, and extreme violence tends to overshadow the remarkable production work of Dr. Dre

The DOC - Helter Skelter [1996]

After releasing his debut album, No One Can Do It Better, the D.O.C. suffered a severe car accident that did irreparable damage to his vocal cords. It left him with a thin, raspy voice that was simply unusable for several years. In 1996, he made his admirable comeback with Helter Skelter. The backing tracks are solid gangsta rap recorded by a live band, and sometimes the harsh growl of his voice sounds threatening, giving the tracks a menacing power.

So at the time i was really into The D.O.C . "Its funky enough" was the 1st track i had ever heard. And Bammmm! I was hooked. But im thinkin everyone was.
Great Artist and musical influence
i did remember hearing about the car wreck and thought damn.. no more DOC.. But the Helter Skelter album was the fuckin anti christ of rap music. So enjoy this excellent album now if you slept on it then. its new to you and you'll like it. I Put dough on it. Late!!
